Hi

Im planning on getting the saturday day pass (option 3) and going to the two halfway stages and the resolfen stage. Will it be possible to get back to cardiff in time for the superspecial that night or not?

Also, for the halfway stage what are peoples opinions on the best car park to park in to get the best view? With the day pass youre limited to car park Q, is there a ticket which allows you to park in another car park - in the list of forest stage tickets available there dont seem to be any for sale for the halfway stages.

Thanks
James

James,

The car parks available on Halfway seem to be O, P and Q with O and P being available only to event pass holders and Q being available to the day pass holders.

As for getting from Resolven to Cardiff, youll have to make your own mind up about it but Resolven starts at 15:32 and the Superspecial at 19:38.

james/paul,

maybe you can help a rally novice? I've just called the ticket hotline thingy asking about a ticket that covers everything on the saturday - i.e. all stages etc - their reply was that they don't do one, only tickets that get you into two stages...

So is there a saturday pass? If so could you tell me what this gets you and how much it is please?

thanks!

ps. I've tried loooking at the web but it's not exactly clear..!

Ticket options for Saturday only are........

Saturday day pass 1. (option 1) £30
This covers, "Crychan" the cars run through here twice at 07.53 and 10.33 and then moves onto "Resolfen" which runs at 15.39.

Saturday day pass 1. (option 2) £30
This covers, the same as above but just has different car parks.

Saturday day pass 1. (option 3) £30
This covers, "Halfway" the cars run through here twice at 08.20 and 11.00 and then moves onto "Resolfen" which runs at 15.39.

Saturday day pass 2...... £25
This covers, "Margam Park" the cars only run once through here at 13.53 and then goes to Cardiff for the "Super special" at 19.30.

Saturday single stage pass...... £15 each
SS12 – Margam Forest
SS13 – Margam Park
SS14 – Resolfen

All of these options need to be booked in advance, not available on the day.

There is no pass that covers all the stages on one day. The Saturday day pass is as follows...

Saturday Day Pass 1: (http://www.walesrallygb.com/default.asp?Page=SaturdayPass1)

Option 1: Crychan car park M (stage run twice) and Resolfen car park J2

Option 2: Crychan car park N (stage run twice) and Resolfen car park J2

Option 3: Halfway car park Q (stage run twice) and Resolfen car park J2

or Saturday Day Pass 2: (http://www.walesrallygb.com/default.asp?Page=SaturdayPass2)

Margam Park (car park T) and Cardiff SuperSpecial

There is no pass that allows access to all the stages apart from the World Rally Pass which allows access to all the stages for all 4 days.

The best thing to do is to either choose one of the passes from above or to choose your own itiniary and buy individual stage tickets (http://www.walesrallygb.com/default.asp?Page=SingleStageTickets) Remember you wont be able to make it to every stage thats running anyway.

Does that help?

Paul..
