Whats the best paint to use preferably "white" for external use?
I need one that is not going to go off colour or fade too quickly.
Any ideas folks?

on new wood ,metal ,masonry or old paint????

On wood and on old paint on wood I would suggest International "Ranch Paint" (you can get it at B&Q etc.) These guys make paint for boats so know a thing or two.

We use their White Ranch Paint on our external window frames, bargeboards etc. and it stays white and doesn't flake even over old paint.

thankx Guys, its for a wooden box, recently built with marine ply for outside use, as its a bit on the big side, dont think it will be returning back indoors!
