was going to leave buying a new bike until after an impending trip to Oz. that is until a mate called me up and told me another friend was selling his:
1999 s
600 ninja
14k miles
excellent condition (i havent seen it yet)
wants £2500 for a quick sale as he's just lost his job.
just wondering whether this seems a "rip his arm off" price or not?
will be seing it tomorrow night so any info greatly appreciated.

Yes, If its a straight bike, its not half bad. Be warned though, The 15k major service is a biggie and usually the wrong side of £300. Go to www.mcnninjas.co.uk (http://www.mcnninjas.co.uk) and ask away. We are a bit biased, but its a good source of info.
