I had a spill(dodgy roundabout tarmac + dodgy riding = ground surfing) on my bike at the weekend. About 15-20mph, bike slightly damaged but am in the process of repairing it. My question is regarding my textile kit. Which did its job fantastically, but in doing it the cloth over the knee armour split and the arm & shoulder look like they lost a fight with a cheese grater. What's the score with it, do I throw it and buy all new or can it be patched????? I don't want to risk anything!!!!!

If you say they are looking a bit shot - you've answered your own question. Your house insurance should cover this clothing, claim for the lid as well.
