Having gone for the first time to the GB Rally last year and suffering in the mad ticket collecting fiasco I was suprised to find that after checking we had a car-park pass nobody checked our personal passes at any stage in the day, is this the norm? Once you have got into the car parks does the spot checking stop? My old man, an old rally nut does not understand the ticket prices considering he used to watch free in years gone by! Is this a cheaper way of watching just ordering one pass per car, or is this unwise. I await to be told!! Many Thanks .

it's better if you get two, cos when me and my brother went to rheola, we had to hold up our passes to get a network q bag with a programme and posters each! so they checked them then, otherwise we might have not got in! it's not really worth not getting two cos you spend all that effort on travelling and money on petrol so you may aswell, otherwise it may turn out to be that you've driven all that way to be refused!!

Most stages last year we were asked to show our passes on entry to the carparks......

Yep we had our car pass and hard card checked at pretty much every stage too.
