Im a bit dubious about ours as well, makes a slight whirring noise when not TDC, was this a symptom of yours?

Just had my Power Steering pump pack up and need to get one urgently tomorrow so that I can still go to Trax on Sunday, can anybody help? I need one for a 96 WRX early type with round reservoir.

Peanuts - yours probably just needs the fluid topping up a little.
It cured mine just before I noticed it was leaking :(

have you tried http://www.silverlakeautoparts.co.uk They're not far from Botley, and they may have the bits. I've never used them, so I don't know how helpful they will be, but it's worth a go!

Have you tried Charles Trent, 02380777720, they have usually got spare parts available off the shelf (used). Worth a try?

Thanks for the replies people, I've been everywhere today and have tried all your suggestions but no luck! however I've just come back from Reading where Rally Colin helped me mod a later version to fit so all appears to be ok now! hey! my first Mod!!! on to Trax I go!
