I was hoping that someone who knows the area would know somewhere where we could hold the venue.

ST.NEOTS riverside carpark. We'll have to make it a late one to upset the nova's, saxo brigade. Would be very intersting though. We could even drive up and down the high street for 4/5 hours
I'm up for it.

St Neots Riverside Park is a large free car park - don't think there is any kind of pub there. Used to be a pizza place, but I think that has now closed as the guy that used to run it has now opened the Domino's Franchise in the town centre (?)

Pub in Great Paxton (on St Neots to Godmanchester road) is also quite central and has a reasonable car park ?

Or perhaps the pub in West Perry (south side of Grafham Water) which also does good food - we use it for the works bicycle ride.
