I'm building a shed....eventually. As all I've got ATM is materials all over my patio.

I'm trying to decide how to roof it. I started looking at polycarbonate but once you start adding up the cost of bracket A and flange-cover C, it all gets a bit extortionate.

It's an offset-apex roof. Apex is 1/3 along rather than in the middle.

I screwed plywood sheets on mine then covered it with felt.
Ain't leaked yet. (2 1/2 yrs)

I'll go with an each way bet on exterior plywood and roofing felt also. :D

I think it is probably the easiest way to roof a shed and should it need repairing is also easy to do.

Cheers

Just a quick reply to add that I used marine ply and painted it with that cuprinol stuff before adding the felt.
Ply Cost about £25 a sheet but if I did it again I'd probably save a few quid and use exterior ply.

& put a thick polythene sheet over the whole lot, just in case the felt rips...
