In fact, you can't! The draft is done! :D Chris has nipped into an early (and gonna be short-lived :p;)) lead!

As for the draft, I agree with Nat (Last of the Bohicas) and have posted as such on the league;s msg board. Copy here:

No Saints DOES look the strongest. Second strongest could well be Little Miss Feckers. Is it any coincidence that both Sammy (NS) and Chelle (LMF) appear to have not done any pre-drafting!!??

Chris, nice to see you put Tiki in as your first pick! :D I'm the same with Brett - I HAVE to draft him first round!

Would anyone be interested in creating an NFL Fantasy Football team? There are a few different leagues out there, but I'd tend to go with the Yahoo one. The thing I like about these leagues as opposed to "Soccer" ones is that you draft the players - ie if I were to draft Brett Favre (:D) then he wouldn't be available to anyone else.

So, let me know if you're interested, and if there's enough of a response I'll set up a league. :)

Oh, and Sammy, I promise not to jinx the Saints by tipping them as my outside bet for the Superbowl! ;):D

Grrr! Ok, I'll try them again via the official Yahoo invite, plus I'll send the instructions separately. One of them has to get thru! :D

I presume I'm using the email addys in your profile??

And hi Flat4, welcome aboard! ;):)

Ah! It's currently set up for a live draft next Tuesday. You can pre-rank the players in an order you prefer, and if you aren't able to be there during the draft, it would choose the best player available for any empty position you had.

Alternatively, we could set it such that you pre-rank your players and then it does an auto draft based on these. Have a read thru and see what you prefer.

LMFAO @ Sammy's team name!! "No Saints" :D:D

I wouldn't go that far - I'd have Deuce in my team.

 Chris :)

As it's just around the corner do people want to do the live draft? Or the auto one?

sammyh

Very sad :p

Just answer the damn question! ;):p

Live draft or auto???

sammyh
02 September 2003, 11:33
No idea :P ;)

Whats the point of auto

V5
02 September 2003, 11:54
The auto is there so that you don't all have to be online whilst it's happening. You pre-rank your players and then the auto draft picks players in turn for each team using you pre-rankings. We used the auto draft the first year we played FF and it worked ok, but there's no doubt that doing the live draft is more fun. :)

sammyh
02 September 2003, 12:16
In that case its up to you, i'm not fussed :)

ChrisB
02 September 2003, 13:13
I think I'll use auto. Doesn't the full draft take hours?

V5
02 September 2003, 14:08
Nah, for three of us  it'd be 15-20 mins prolly! I'll leave it as a live draft and if you can't/don't want to make it, it'll use your pre-rankings.

V5
02 September 2003, 14:10
Chris - you need to create a team before the draft!
