Looking at painting the calipers on my Silver Prodrive WR Sport. She wears silver 17" prodrive speedlines and I'm looking for any examples of 'THE' colour of choice for the calipers.

There's the obvious;

Black (boring?)
Silver (obvious?)
Red (Mmmmm..)
Blue (OK on Sonic blue)
Gold (well..)

Then there's the white lettering? Silver? Gold?

Damn, decisions decisions decisions.

Have you guys gor any good examples or choices before I take a paintbrush to my prode and joy.

I'd say Silver mate, keep the colour trend, think the others might look a bit odd. IMHO

Enjoy!

Thanks guys.

Dhorwich. You've done a cracking job, especially with the lettering. But I think red will be a little loud for the silver, and my tastes.

Bee. The more I think about it, the silver option with black or red lettering sounds cool and understated.

So that's the front runner so far.

Anyone got any pictures of such a setup??

Bugger. I've just bought the silver brake caliper paint from Halfords as well.

They do look good mate, plus you don't have to use your missus as the excuse to get YOUR nail varnish out!

Thanks mate, I'll do a test paint with the silver and see what happens.

I did this a while ago on my DBM wagon. Looks OK, but I'm thinking of changing the colour.
