Images are on their way to your email account!!
... or so I thought ... except your account bounced them. I've sent them on to Ian!
The video will need to be compressed into an mpg before i can send it ... its way too large at 10mb.

siwrx 21 August 2003, 17:47 Would people be interested in a group buy on SuperHigh technology 52mm Guages.
http://www.superhightechnology.com/Images_X/Perf/RG-2TB-B.gif
These Guages are the same ones in this months Redline, being sold by Storm Motorsport or £60 each. They are good quality, come wih all the bits you will need and look really trick.
Available there are the following guages, all 52mm, all white faced (except air fuel) etc.
Boost (30 PSI Max)
Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Water Temp
voltage
Vacuum
Air Fuel Ratio
The guages come with whatever senders, piping, connectors etc you need and areimported from Hong Kong. Ive fitted a few on my cralready and they are easy to fit nd pretty accurate too :)
A local company to me called Voodoo also import these guages and are much cheaper than Storm at 45 ish per Guage and 60 for the Airfuel. They are willing to do a group buy with redued prices dependent on how many units are ordered at a time.
RETAIL PRICES
2" air fuel led indicator rrp £ 59.99
2" oil pressue electronic rrp £ 49.99
2" oil temp electronis rrp £ 49.99
2" turbo boost 30 psi mechanical rrp £49.99
2" vacum mechanical rrp £49.99
2" volt meter rrp £49.99
2" Water Temp rrp £49.99
and for the group buy here are our discounts.
all inc vat for qty 10 or above - 15% eg £ 49.99 - 15% = 42.49
for gty 15 or above - 20% = 39.99
for qty 20 or above- 30 % = 34.99
So if we sell over 20 units a set up like air fuel, boost and water temp for example which retails at £160 would cost us £105 a £55 saving on three guages.

ScoobyTal 21 August 2003, 18:28 yes interested in boost, oil temp and oil pressure
to replace my current ones
How do I tell what size my cuurent ones are what does the 52mm dia refer to ?
*Sonic* 21 August 2003, 18:42 Usually the hole that the gauge fits into, or the diameter of the gauge not including the bezel
If I can get my Dash lights in Blue (have the bulbs but they are all the wrong size :( ) then I will have a set of Boost/Oil Temp/Oil Pressure, as long as they are electrical oil gauges :)
*Sonic* 21 August 2003, 18:45 U got any pics of them fitted to your motor ?
coulty 21 August 2003, 18:52 sounds good mate! may be interested in a couple
siwrx 21 August 2003, 19:06 Sonic atm i onlyhave boost wired in as im waiting fr the air fuels to come from HK, Money has the 3 guages u wanted in his. Will let him give an opinion on them
Cant get at pics of them in my car as my computer brokeso i cant access my pics, will try to take some. Theyre a reallynice finish with a chrome bezel. They light up just like in the pic too, except the needle lights up red wheras you cant see it in the pics
siwrx 21 August 2003, 19:11 Right going to get some group buy prices off the company tomorrow, hopefully some of the guages will be in the 30s if we get a good enough number of people inerested.
Will also take my box down the post office and find out how much they ill be to post so I can quote you all for shipping too.
The guages match perfectly with the gecko blue led dash kits Huxley always promotes :)
griffm 21 August 2003, 19:45 Is there an option on bezels and dials ? I would be very interested in white dial, green illumination with black bezel to suit standard dash. :):)
siwrx 21 August 2003, 19:51 afraid not m8, they come as above. Personally the silver bezels look the tits so i wouldntworry about them and for 40 uid you can have lockwooddials to match the guages.
Huxleys little blue light thngs are only 30 quid iirc and they make it the same colour too. U know u wnt blue, blues the tits :P
jim litten 21 August 2003, 20:05 Is the boost gauge electrical or mechanical, if its electrical then very interested.
Jim
siwrx 21 August 2003, 20:10 its mechanical, its my understanding that electric ones are much more expensive, this one will be under 40 quid with group buy.
It is pretty accurate though, i have no complaints with mine.
M0NEY 21 August 2003, 20:54 You g*t! I just bought mine.
Can they refund them and then ill buy it at the group buy price which will be cheaper :D
Tony_W 21 August 2003, 21:41 Interested in Air fuel (How easy is it to wire in? My02WRX) and the boost gauge if price is good from group buy. :)
*Sonic* 21 August 2003, 22:27 LOL@Money
You got any pics of them installed Money?
Cheers
TREV 21 August 2003, 22:55 Very interested in the boost gauge.
flatfour0 21 August 2003, 23:51 Fancy a boost guage. Do they come with a pod? Or will i have to get my own?
Do they come with all the bits to connect it to the engine?
Cheers
siwrx 22 August 2003, 18:26 Money they were at trade already u whinging goit lol. But u need the others as discussed so u can get them :P besides i reckon the maximum it will be is about 5 quid less than you paid on the boost guage and prob only a couple on the others.
The Guages all come with the relevent parts to fit and install them. For example the boost comes with a t-piece, vacuum hosing, hose fittings, the wiring to get it to light up, fuse, bracket, screws etc. Others with different senders come with different parts.
The Air fuel is very easy to wire up as we are fortunate enough to have decent lambda sensors that it can be wired straight too.
Guages dont come with pods, but come with bracket to fit them inside any pod etc so the fibreglass pillar jobbies work fine.
Just waiting on the prices for the group buy now so will stick them up asap
J4CK50N 22 August 2003, 18:43 Am interested in maybe 1, 2 or even 3 gauges!
Keep me informed m8!
Cheers
J4CK50N
lordharding 22 August 2003, 20:15 interested as well will prob take 3 at that money :D:D
siwrx 23 August 2003, 12:37 Right here are some prices :)
RETAIL PRICES

The number can be mixed so as long as we take over 20 guages, which we are bound to, we get them al at £34.99, which is 30% belowRRP and half what storm sell them for.
*Sonic* 23 August 2003, 14:02 count me in

sc00by57 23 August 2003, 17:16 am very interested but when are youlookin to sort this deal? just havin a huge spend up on the car at the moment like fmic,p1 engine into a uk97 all bits etc! so could be tight for a few weeks!

Edited to add...
Sonic, didn't you get a set in the Autometer group buy?
[Edited by talizman - 8/23/2003 6:51:40 PM]
*Sonic* 23 August 2003, 19:23 LOL yep it was my Group Buy :)
But I like these better, plus ive had the blue dash bulbs for almost a year, and I think its time i fitted them :)
will have some Autometer gauges for sale soon hehe
talizman 23 August 2003, 19:50 I see.
Where did you get your blue dash bulbs so we can all get them to match our new guages? :D
*Sonic* 23 August 2003, 19:56 I got them from Paul (BoxerFlat4) at http://www.thegecko.biz :)
However they are very tricky to fit in a facelift classic due to there only being one large bulb that the Blue LED's will fit into, and im not sure yet if Paul has managed to source some smaller 6mm Blue LEDs which will slot straight in
Cheers
Steve
