Just in the throes of buying a kitchen to replace the rather tired effort presently installed.
Are there any companies you good folk can recommend and more particularly any that are to be avoided.
I'd be really interested to hear your recommendations.

Hmmm... I am in the same position. A little lost for choice at the moment. Intoto look good but am tempted by MFI or Ikea as I won't be in this house for long. Any recommendations or good/bad experiences would be very welcome!

A little hint that might save you a few quid. We got our handles from Sycamore Products. Similar ones in B&Q were £7-9 each, we paid 47p-£1.78. Large selection, ours are brass/ceramic T-bar for doors with antique drops for drawers.

Having just fitted one into my house :D, I can recommend the Wickes Take Away Kitchen range. (I think I should be on commission the amount of times I've said this recently!) They might be cheap, but they are solid and well made. Jewsons also do some kitchens by the same manufacturer.
And Skoosh, nice timing mate! ;) Why oh why do you have to let us know that after I've bought nearly everything to gut and re-fit a whole house??!!??
