Being done tomorrow afternoon :D :D

Had to buy a camber bolt though, as i have positive camber on the one rear wheel, which is why my 225 tyres are rubbing round right-hand bends!

The bloke said its a shame I have cheapy tyres (came with wheels) on atm. Oh well at least it will be set up for when they wear out (shouldnt take me long!!!)

You'll notice a huge difference :) but beware initially as it can feel a bit tail happy till you get used to it

Funny to have positive camber on that rear wheel Andy. Hope they can do their normal set-up cambers for you-gives the best handling.

Hope you will let us know what you think about the result. The solid anti roll bar links make quite a difference too-they complement the set up. Worth considering.

Wrotten typing!

Les :)

Camber was probably caused by a kerbing - that wheel had a different tyre to the other 3 when i bought the car .

Just hope the tyres dont rub once it's done LOL

Andy,
My Bridgestone SO3's only lasted 3.5K  grip and wear rates are relative  get somw sloid drop links on the rear PowerFlex for £90 and beats most things for handling per Buck :D

If you've got the wallet in open mode then:-

4 wheel alignment.
bumpsteer mod.
anti lift kit.
up rated front & rear anti roll bars.
solid drop links.
poly bushes.

and the only thing I didn't get done:-

eibach springs.

It will then handle like nothing you've had before :D

Well it's done, wallet now £180 lighter!

First up - i wont get full effect till i put proper tyres on (they kept laughing at my cheapo ones :)) but WOW!!!

As soon as i pulled out the industrial estate i felt the steering feeling different (booting it right out of junction).

Everything feels so much more precise. No need to slow for corners now either. I think its just me but the front also definately feels less "saggy" (i.e. when zipping round potholes).

I must add that my geometry was MAJORLY out, so i'm sure this is helping the handling too!!

Opinion: Get it done :D...

Sidhead, please go into detail about what you got for your £180 as a couple of us southerners are toying with a beano to PS.

I don't know, sorry. I'm not very technical, so i didn't really discuss the ins-and-outs. I know I had to purchase a geometry bolt, as the standard ones aren't too adjustable and my one wheel was SOO far out (you could see it!!).

All i know is that it feels brilliant - and i thought it was excellent before

My car is going to PowerStation next week to have the HKS coilovers fitted, full geo. set up, bump steer mod. and my cut slicks fitted.

I am thinking about having the poly bushes done while the car was there, has anyone else had this done and was it worth it!!

How did you get on at Power Station? They are still sorting mine out at the moment so hopefully I'll get it back in a few days!

Yeah had a good day in Cheltenham whilst the guys sorted out my car. Saw yours there - bonnet up and various people underneath it.

Very pleased with the result of mods. Car handles so much better than before. Cornering confidence is almost too much - the car feels like it'll go whereever I want it to go. Pardon the expression but the car has a nice tight arse now!

Was talking to a few of the guys down there about what to do next.... AP Racing brake kit, then exhaust we reckoned but that'll have to wait until maybe next year as now saving up for a holiday.

You'll love the difference when you get your pride & joy back.

Dave.
