I am 23 with full 5 year protected bonus with a MY02 WRX

Just had my Tesco renewal through the post at £1248. I then did an online quote putting in exactly the same details and it came up with £1048! So I rang them up because I thought there would be some sort of catch, and asked why it was cheaper to take out a new policy with them rather than renew my exising one. No one came up with an answer, but they said I would have to re-sign some paper work! In resigning some paper work I have saved myself £200!!!

Had the same with Elephant and my wife's insurance. Renewal was 20% dearer than setting up a new policy with same details. Admiral (their parent company) was 5% cheaper still, using the same webpages but through Admirals site.

Con artists the lot of 'em. Except LV of course!
