Ok I have seen this used on several TV programs for finishing wood, but don't know much about it. Anyone give me some more info about it

Anyone give me some more info about it cheers Cliff Mike P 14 August 2003, 17:09 It's generally used on interior wood surfaces to make them water resistant. We've got butcher's block kitchen worktops and it does a really good job of protecting them. You need a good couple of coats IIRC when you first apply - enough for the wood to soak up all it can and then remove the excess. Surfaces need a very light wire wool/sanding and topping up about every 6 months depending on use, but it gives a really nice, satin finish. Buy it from Screwfix - v cheap. |
