I want a roof vent and want a dummy one really.Because I don't want to be cuttting through the roof.Purely for styles sake,I fancy it badly!
Pls. if someone can help me! I have seen one on Scoobyworld website but they don't look chunky enough!

Hmmm, there is nothing stylish in putting a dummy roof scoop on your car. Bit too Max Power - IMO at least.

If you want a WRC replica scoop, try here. Trouble is though that these things really need through-roof fixing, which you say you don't want to do...

MRO and TSL both do them. Personal choice I think but I agree with greasemonkey. Had a look at the TSL one whilst my car was in for a service. Plonked it on to see what it would look like and quickly realised how cheesy it looked. Again just an opinion mate. Go for it.

Here and here.

Trouble is though that the one TSL sell looks to be the same one you've already rejected at Scoobyworld, while the MRO one is even smaller and "cheesier".

The real roof scoops draw in a hell of a lot of air, especially at speed, and there'd be very high positive pressure inside them if that air wasn't able to exit into the car itself. Under those circumstances, it's difficult to imagine adhesive tape holding one on, which is why the functional ones like the Rallytech item are designed to be bolted through the skin.

Maybe the best way to go about this would be to consider that the latest Impreza WRC cars don't have roof scoops at all. Thus, if you want to be at the cutting edge of motorsport fashion, the best option is to keep the roof clean, and scoop-free

Hell, if you only live once, you may as well push the boat right out and get a real WR Car. Bit impractical when it comees to carrying passengers, but nothing will touch you away from the lights...
