I know this sounds duff, but....

In a 98my do I need the darker grey (later classic) or light grey a pillar pod ?

Also, I'm thinking of mounting a boost gauge in the lower pod and remote mounting Knock Leds and AFR into the second pod. Anyone done this / have any ideas ?

How large is the AFR and Link box ?
Thanks,

Mark

I've done exactly that well actually I've got the Knocklink lights alongside the boost in the upper pod. I'll try and sort out some pics of the finished item, I've got few of the work in progress

Where sort of place would do that wiring to convert the knocklink?

I'm pretty sure that Vinny did it himself - see

this thread (http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?ThreadID=209537&Page=1).

I intend to do the same (similar). I've bought two green, a yellow, a bright orange and a bright red 5mm led, for the job -
I'm hoping to put a boost gauge in a 2 pod A pillar fixing, and a blanking plate in the other. This will have the AFR and KnockLEDS in it....
Vinny - how come you used the original Top led from the link ?

Well I did do a very basic mod myself but someone (on this board) did the Rolls Royce job for me, I'll point him in this direction and if he wants to pipe up he can :)

I used the existing LEDs cos they were free :)

Here's how it looks in the car with the Defi display in the background.

if you need a blank pod in order to fit led's or even tweeters it can be done, just ask your supplier, the bottom or top pod can be left blank. cheers nomad
