A bit different from my Rally pics, but these puppies were an amazing sight to watch.

Taken at the weekend, Class 1 Offshore Powerboat racing, Plymouth.

Those guys are nuts, big respect to them. Steve Curtis is probably the best engine driver, i remember listening to him once and he explained how after the race they cough up/pee blood for days due to the battering their internal organs get.

Completely mad.

Nice pics.

They used to come to Guernsey until some moron complained about the loss of parking spaces for a few days!

I was out in a marshalling boat near Sark when they all came past at full chat. I will never forget that experience. :D:D:D

The paddock makes Formula One look like a go-kart race with the amount of wealth on display. You can almost smell the money. The Victory boats would simply crane out the still warm Lambo engines and drop 2 new ones in after practice. I believe you have to have your own oil producing nation state to be able to afford to compete.

One of the things about motorsport is the noise the vehicles make!

Now I would love to try and get a sound byte of these bad boys!
