I would like to thank everyone who attended the JAE on Saturday and Sunday on the SIDC Stand.
It was a brilliant weekend (apart from the rain on Saturday night!!) and it was great to meet everyone.
A massive thank you has to go to Rob for his help in organising the cars, and the show and shine judging of the MLR. I couldn't have coped otherwise. Also for the BBQ on Saturday night which I unfortunately ruined by burning all the food. Sorry about that.
Also thanks to Andy,s missus for her help with our tents on Saturday. I think we'd have been under the stars otherwise:)
The winners of the show and shine were:
Saturday
Best Subaru of Show Andrew Burkinshaw
Best Classic Subaru Rob Morris
Best Newage Subaru Peter Bone
Sunday
Best Subaru of Show Craig Mudd
Best Classic Subaru Paul Shepherd (Shep)
Best Newage Subaru Paul Lapworth (Ajax)
I will definately be organising an SIDC Stand at next years event and would like to hear of any idea's about what could be done to make it better. Games or competition idea's would be welcome. I know that space was tight this year so I will be asking for a larger plot (say 70 car stand) and having around 40-50 cars on it.
See you all again at Trax
