There is probably a reason for this not happening but why not ditch qualifying and let the Grid Positions copy the Champsionship Table.

ie: 1st in the Championship = last on the grid and so on:D

Seems mad I know but after the fiasco at the weekend (which was great) its would certainly be exciting!

They do that in autograss racing minis at the front and V8 powered single seaters at the back interesting!!!!!!!

I'm sure they do this in Legends racing too...fastest car at the back.

Would turn things round brilliantly if you ask me.

would certainly get my vote. maybe should just have 1 qualify session to sort out the first race, then after that let the championship table decide.

like the idea that they have to race in the car the qualified in, bet old mikey schumacher doesnt like it though.

would like to see points given for the fastest lap and and fastest through the speed trap - would give every driver a chance of a point or two no matter where they are in the race, might cheer coulthard up when he loses interest cos he's not at the front.

a manufacturers point for most laps in the lead might make the tactical side more interesting.

I like the idea they have done with qualifying but they should make it two hot laps. I.E. outlap, hotlap, hotlap, inlap because the qualifying is tending to decide the race for most teams

what it should be is first in championship last on the grid.that way if they are good they will still win
