Speed Triple - Yep on the list :) 955i engine , some decent cans .... smiles for that one

TL1000 - heard one the other day, what a great noise. Handling comments from people worry me . Anyone comment who owns one?

List extended to Semi-Naked, partially upright...

At this rate I'll be back to an SP2

I found a company in America (http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/bmwturbos.htm#k1200) that could sell me a turbo kit, took the BHP upto between 200 and 275 depending on what boost you ran.

Lovely fitting, the turbo went where the cat currently sits.

Couldn't find anyone prepared to insure it though so had to abandon the idea.

LOL @ Vmax suggestion. Only buy one of these if you have your own private runway to ride it down! :D

I think Speed Triple has to be the way to go here, it matches all your criteria. Something like a Ducati Monster matches most of the criteria but would prefer British over Italian any day :D

If you rated bikes on how hard they looked, then the Speed Triple is a double hard bastad having a bad day :D

What about that naked Aprilia Mille thingy, the name escapes me.....big twin, sit up stance and a bit different etc.

Altho the Trumpet does sound mean as. :)

Aprilia Tuono - excellent bike - best of the naked 1000's I reckon.

What about BMW 1150R Rockster - not my choice but had good review from a mate of mine.
