Deako1 27 July 2003, 18:26 I went to Rich at Motorguard for the Blackjax...very neat job and good after sales too...200 mile round trip but worth using someone who knows the product. doctor CLIFFORD 27 July 2003, 19:22 :) neilswrx 31 July 2003, 20:44 try gap security they come to you ,if they can come up to aberden guess they can travel anywhere address is in max power or i can look it out for you S.B. 31 July 2003, 21:07 Heard a lot of horror stories about gap...:( f1 31 July 2003, 21:33 mmm interesting one about Gap there ? Have just got a quote from them for a car of mine on a Clifford Matrix( car not a Scoob) Is there a thread about Gap then ? philz 31 July 2003, 22:47 GAP fitted my Clifford, did an excellent job. As with any company though, it's all down to the individual fitter, who luckily did a great job on mine. fin 01 August 2003, 10:30 Stay away from GAP i can't warn you enough! IanW 01 August 2003, 11:13 Car Radio Alarms - Sutton in Surrey I had a C600 fitted by them a few years back on an old car, top quality install! philz 01 August 2003, 11:13 Stay away from GAP i can't warn you enough! How can you say that about an entire company? If you had a bad installer then by all means slate him, but you can't slate the entire company. If I used your reasoning then I'd be saying that all of GAP are top installers (cos they did a top job of my Clifford). SlowBoy 01 August 2003, 14:27 Motorguard - it's worth making the journey. You only have to do it once, and you're more or less guaranteed a proper job. The doc knows Clifford products and he knows scoobs which makes for a quick and very tidy installation. You should also be aware that a bad installation can be more hassle than it's worth, and these aren't cheap bits of kit, either. Not connected in any way. (With the company. The alarm's connected just fine!) |
