Been here a few weeks now and found this forum invaluable..so i was gonna sign up and part with the necessary £25.. but...

seeing as this board is free and i dont intend doing many mods to my new motor, are there any benefits of signing up ??

You get a sticker ;)

If you're not gonna spend any money in the shop then no point - unless you wish to support scoobynet out of the kindness of your heart :D

No, the financial value of membership comes from the discounts negotiated on goods in the Shop. If you're not intending on modding, there's not a lot of point.

Unless you go to Scooby events and then the ticket price may well be reduced and you'll make your saving that way.

Plus, you might want it for those replacement parts (everyone needs tyres and the like)!

You get a card, stickers, PLUS MEMBER on your username, varying levels of discount in ScoobyShop and the keyring will be on the way as soon as the quality is to the standard that Si and Shaun require. :)

Some great competitions and offers as above have been available to Plus members.

You may not mod your car, but maybe when your OEM pads and discs wear out you may want to consider replacing them with some discs and pads offered through the shop.
At the moment a lot of the stuff being offered is car related, but all the time new suppliers are being sought who's services and products are not just car related.

If you don't want to do it now, keep an eye on the shop and when you see things you would take advantage of then get that cheque off quick. :D
