Just heard a rumour (stress rumour) that there is going to be another Subaru dealership in the Colchester area. A Hyundai dealer "apparently" may be in talks with Subaru. If so does this mean the other local Subaru dealer is giving up the Subaru account?!

Has anyone else heard anything?

Not surprised just look at the stock over the last few months at osbornes.

Phoned up and could well be right according to a guy in service.

Would have been nearer for me if it had been Ipswich

Seems to be a lot of dealers departing this year.

Where this other dealer then?

This is just rumour and conjecture.

please keep it factual before it becomes legally messy.

Look out peeps its turning into nannynet round here ;)
The guy says it is a rumour if a rumour is not acceptable on here then either delete or lock the thread why post about keeping it to factual information?
I am sure that the poster is aware that it is a rumour hence why he mentions rumour in his post. Not trying to have a go at you Chiark just wondering if the post by a Moderator in what could be construed to be a condescending manner was needed here, it just seems to be giving the appearance of someone exerting there authority in a public manner. I am probably wrong, would not be the first time and definitely not the last ;)

I do think that maybe a lot of this legal litigation talk is a bit of Scoobynet blowing its own trumpet and bigging itself up, nothing wrong with that as long as it does not affect the memberships ability to actually just bounce things off each other. hey whats it matter the so called community has made it pretty clear it dont like me anyway so why do I bother fooling myself that my views or opinions count for anything round here. The trouble with me not being a member of the herd and wanting to do my own thing is that all the sycophantic sheep just go baa baa baa at me as they look for their lost single brain cell in the electronic grass ;)

Doesn't TimTaylor (not Tim "The Toolman" Taylor  ) work for Osborne's? He used to be a Scoobynet regular.

Big shame, I think they were an excellent garage.

Haddocks in Ardleigh is in the middle of nowhere, you can't just pop into town while the garage does stuff to your car. I hope they have a lot of courtesy cars ready!!

Get your Skates on and go and find out. Ardleigh has got some nice roads you can go Herring down.

This Cod turn into a stupid thread, though ;)
