Anyone watch the F1 this afternoon? What the hell were ITV playing at towards the end? Cut to adverts during Ralfs final lap, then when you finally realise your error you cut back to the coverage to see its all over! What a farce ITV you really are a class act.

I would also like to complain about the French producer, we really did not need to follow the Renaults for lap after lap, I hate to say it but I am glad they broke down!

Montoya Rules!

Missed today's GPrix TV coverage (or "lack of" apparently so didn't miss much after all) as I attended the MG Saloon Day (Good time had by all). ITV coverage is and always will be dictated by their paymasters ..... what they say goes .... and that includes pictures at critical times .... So despite their best efforts, you WILL get commercial breaks at times when you really need to see pictures ... captive audience, profits and all that.

When ITV first gained the GP coverage contract, the commercial break was not the problem it is now. Worse still, some directors, maybe many, are poor race readers and because of this will leave the action at critical times simply through ignorance. Time and again, from my armchair I spot a move or "about to happen" event which all those highly paid professionals fail to spot or do so much later when it's all too late. AND I'm often many hundreds of miles away with only my living room TV set, not all the gizmos they have at their disposal. There's more to this stuff than merely being professional .... grrrrrrhhhh!!.... :(

I think the coverage was ok.

But ITV are a bunch of amateurs. Mark & Martin argue the whole time & talk complete tosh. Ok, some of the comments are good, but they are not natural commentators. I also agree the adverts fook it up big time, there's too many, and all at the wrong times

The build up is good, but come racetime, they can't keep the race exciting. Move over & give someone else a shot

And I wish they would shut up about Montoya. He aint a god

what annoyed me as well as the final lap (I have complained to ITV) is that the pre race now runs for over 40 minutes before going to the first ad break, they did this last week too

How they generate revenue is beyond me, as I for one, along with countless others who watch the GP, dont give a stuff about the adverts
