I currently have a Y2k blade which believe it or not due to my small hands I have developed tedonnitis in my left wrist through over-reaching for the clutch lever.

Now I have checked the new blades and teh sahpe of teh lever is different but also nearer to the handlebar.

My idea is to change one for the other. Now the only difference I can see in the lever itself is the position of some wires that go into teh clutch bracket.

Can anyone tell me what this is for and whether it is necessary as the new lever position for this is different.
