Hi.

Please someone point me in the right direction....

Attach rear wiper motor to multiplug in boot. Instant blown fuse in drivers footwell, and no wipers whatsoever.

Remove multiplug in boot, replace fuse, wipers work again.

I have inspected all wiring and joints as far as i can see. Everything looks fine.

Any ideas lads.....
It's not as if i use the rear wiper at all, but since it's there i'd like it to work ;)

Just a thought, maybe the motors burnt out, and all your doing is fusing it, try moving the wiper by hand, see if it moves, it coyuld be just stuck!

Yep, sounds like it's gone dead short. :(

Can you put a meter on it to measure its resistance?

local motor electrician is gonna have a go at repairing it.
