Here goes then ! The next meeting will be on Sunday the 31st August

Start getting your names down now !

As usual there will be a fixed meeting for everybody to end up at, a start point for those that fancy a convoy and then a further convoy to the Skyline/Evo Midlands meet at the Stenson Bubble in Derby for those who would like to extend the day further.

I am working on a start point, but am suggesting that the Clock Warehouse at Shardlow is the base for the main meet as numerous people have expressed that the venue must cater for kiddies and be between our two cities plus the food is ok and the car park large enough to accomodate all of the cars.

I will put an e mail to everyone on my mailing list in due course, but will begin the meet at around 11 am, arrive at the ClockWarehouse for 12 and then leave the Clock at around 2 to make our way to the other meet. This then gives everybody time to chat and have something to eat.

Dave Wilkins is the organiser for the meet at the Bubble and we have agreed between us that the only post for this will be via this thread. Both Dave,Gridlock Mikey and me believe that a convoy of Scoobs turning up at the Bubble would certainly give an edge to the meet and would give our meet yet another variation and option for you all.

Hope you all like the plan. As soon as each meet ends I get emails asking when the next meet will be !! Thanks for this as I must be doing something right ! Sorry about mini meet 3 clashing with the Jap show, but it still turned out ok. This is a return to a more normal meet (If there ever is such a thing!)

Count me in - I start pre-season training this Sunday, but as a regular trainer, I'm sure they won't mind if I miss one week (assuming our 1st league match will be in September).

What do you think the start time is likely to be? - I could perhaps do both!

oh and to keep it real I bought my gorgeous man a 2002 Bugeye in WRB...Yes I am a Real woman!! He Is definately spoilt rotten. I absolutely love the car it was the best thing i ever bought..as it brought the biggest widest grin to my BF's face and that was worth a million quid to see. I drive it when i get the chance and i LOVE IT!

Oh hope you all have a great meet...sorry i wont be coming i am curently with child and banned from driving fast (basically driving the scooby) or at least that is what he tells me..
