ChrisB 31 August 2003, 22:11 Looking at doing Finland next year. It was an excellent trip this year but I want to do countries as many as possible :)
APJ 01 September 2003, 22:42 Just booked the flights - Bristol-Nice return £37!!!!!! Where's everyone staying this year? Stayed at the Quality Acropole in Nice last year - cheap 4* but it was a dump.
APJ 01 September 2003, 22:44 Also - can anyone comfirm stages are being run around Gap again this year? Had real trouble getting a hotel anywhere near the first days stages last year, so want to book early this time!
Chip 03 September 2003, 14:55 I'll be at the Marriot in Monaco. Cost was 95 euros /night but that was booking it very early.Probably gone up now.
Stayed in the Hotel de france this year in the port area of Monaco. It was OK, clean but basic.
Chip.
APJ 08 September 2003, 23:11 So . . . is it definately in Gap for the first day's action??

APJ 11 October 2003, 23:22 Teri - any cheap deals on the Mariott? Seem to want E200 per night when I check. What was the Diana like last year?
Stayed in the Acropole in Nice last year - 4* but probably one to avoid!

Scoobychick 13 October 2003, 15:21 Woohoo, booked!! :D
I knew I wouldn't be able to resist it again. Me, my dad and Chris are flying with EasyJet Thurs 22nd 7.10am Luton - Nice, returning Monday 26th 9.20pm, £11.99 outbound & £15.71 inbound plus taxes. Cool
Staying in Beausoleil about 300 metres from Casino Square so no driving backwards and forwards from Nice to Monaco every night this year.
Terri, are we on the same flight as you again? :) See you there Thursday pm, above the service area for beer/coffee/pizza like last year? :D
Then up to the cafe in Casino square for some £6 pints of lager ready for the start ceremony??? Musn't forget the drivers photo thing either in the gardens :)
Chip, hope to catch up with you this time :D are you doing the chopper thing again???
Sal
Chip 16 October 2003, 16:40 Sal,
Will be getting a chopper from Nice to Monte on arrival And will probably charter a chopper to get to stages on Sat or Sun. Not sure yet which one we'll do.
Let me know if you want details . Works out OK pricewise if you get the right amount of people.
See you in Casino Sq on the Thursday night then.
Chip.
Scoobychick 16 October 2003, 17:47 How about one for Friday's stages as they're so far away? We've got an option to pay £199 each for Sunday up to the Col with our tour operator but of course if you can get one for a better price than that.... :D
Chip 16 October 2003, 20:01 Which of course I can.
Scoobychick 16 October 2003, 22:38 3 seats please then :D
