I've pre booked 2 RAF Tornados carrying Napalm just incase :D

In all the years I've watched the Jim Clark, I've only had a couple of midgie problems but they were stood under trees on Abey St Bathens after rain :rolleys:

We SHOULD be ok on this one;)

I'll sort out the plan of action and let you know (Bob T).

Something along the lines of:

Set off from home @ 2pm.

Meet Bob @ the A1 near Morpeth @ 3.15 ish :D

Travel in convoy (2 cars)

Arrive @ School field Dunns TC @ 5pm.

Pay and secure good piches fort lads arriving int morning (Mike and his ex Flat4 saloon.)

Barb Q and Beer followed by drunken entertainment from 6pm onwards! :D:D:D:D

Sleep - ?

06:00 hrs Saturday. Crawl out of stinking pit and climb into cars ready for the action @ 9am

Thats the facts Jack.

Ste, that sounds like a fine plan:cool:

I may have to alter my plan slightly, seemingly it's not as easy as you might imagine to import napalm, damn customs:rolleyes:;)

The flies won't be as bad as the Scottish. You usually find they are worse on the west coast. Get to Langton early this year it will be heaving and make sure you take in Swinton Mill. I've got two pals coming up from Manchester on the Friday, so we're going to the Ocean Terminal for a while and then for a few pints at the Waterfront in Leith. Back to my place and on the road early on Saturday. Stayng with my parents on Saturday night in Kelso after a nice big meal in the Black Swan and a few more pints.
What a weekend!!!!!!!

Sounds like Derek's also got a good plan.:D

The jump after the farm into the 90 left is good but its always packed out. I might try to avoid the conjestion @ Lngton and go to the bails after the watersplash, uphill and a bit of a straight.

It goes through two nasty big 10 ton bails and over an old bridge with a big drop on the other side. Lots of skidding and sliding there last year.

Swinton Mill? Give us a reminder, I cant think what the stage is like:rolleyes:

Ste. wooooop wooooooop weeeeeee.

Losing the plot in anticipation:D:D:D:D:

BOB.T

STE, Swinton has the jump up hill over the Chirnside road after a long fast straight. You have to take it flat otherwyse the car nose dives! Some of them bottle it and are all over the place! E-mail me and I'll tell you how to get there. There is also cracking jump over a bridge just before that where they get well up in the air.

26 June 2003, 22:28
Hey Bob. I saw that car last night! It was nearly as high as that and had no wheels on the ground: It was on axle stands in the M-Sport workshop!

STE.W.
27 June 2003, 08:33
Derek, thanks again. Been there a couple of times. We were clinging to the right hand side of the bank a couple of years ago when Neil Wearden shed his front bumper right next to us.

A couple of years before, we went through the corn field over a stream and watched the big jump you see from the cross roads.

We can get to it from the other side and will be planning to do that this year!!

Bob, Dereks right the mozzies are just about non exisitent up on the east side. But after the Scottish I'm prepared just in case.

Mark - well cut and pasted my man :D grafted like a true expert:D:D:D

That jump on Bobs photo was the scariest place I've ever stood.

I thought Bob was a gonna

He manage to keep me out of shot as well;)

7 days to go people.
Oh no its happening again. .... Quick think of Sherry Blair with nothing on -quick - quick...... Blimey Charlie, that was close, nearly had me eye out thinking of next weekend! :D:D:D:D:

Bob, three car convoy now mate. Two Legs and the Festa

Seeeeee ya.

Ste:)
