I will soon be needing a new set of tyres and was wondering if glueing the balance weights on to the back of each alloy is common practice in this country?
Reason I ask is the previous owner (who lived in Oz) had this done whilst in Oz and I have never seen anything like this before.
Normal practice over here is the weight being hammered on the rim isn't it

If they know what they are doing, or can be arsed they qwill glue them on the back, if they are cowboys they will hammer them on the outside of your alloys

If they're really clever, some places can balance them and split the weight, so that they are hidden behind the wheels spokes!!
