International rally driver Alistair McRae

International rally driver Alistair McRae visited Cirencester on Thursday 5th June - not for a day in the picturesque Cotswold town but for the love of a car. Alistair traveled from his native Scotland to personally collect his latest purchase - a new generation Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII.

Mitsubishi Motors U.K. head office in Cirencester was the setting for Director of Sales and Marketing, Lance Bradley, to hand over the keys to Alistair.

When questioned on the reason he has purchased the car Alistair McRae stated simply that ‘The Evo VIII is the perfect car for me, its high performance, great value and it looks good’.
Universally acclaimed for its raw power, exceptional handling and an emotionally spine-tingling driving experience, the new generation Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII is available now from all.

Mitsubishi Ralliart dealerships across the U.K.

Cool

So that won't be a PR stunt, what with him still being a contracted MRE works driver then?

You don't see DC buying a Jag do you

I had a race with Jenson Button in his very yellow NSX in Weybridge a couple of weeks ago, not as quick as my M5 or could it be the driver!!!

What do Minardi drivers drive?

Dom.
