View Full Version : Classic Wagon Styling ideas?
I have a MY98 wagon in green, and it is absolutley standard.
Firstly I want to change the horrible orange side repeaters and indicators, thinking smoked, as I may tint the windows.
In the future wheels may change, and also lower it a bit, and also unsure about the rear light clusters.
Would appreciate any ideas on modding the car looks wise, and photos of modded green wagons.
Mine is below:

scoobystityper 17 June 2003, 18:55 colour code the skirts, sti style upper rear spoiler, driving lights not fogs, 17"wheels...very very lightly tinted windows, 22b bonnet vents, sti style red/clear rear lenses, i could go on
Scott W 18 June 2003, 09:03 I have a Green Wagon that's had a few mods done to it. ;)Unfortunately I do not have any recent pictures here (I'm at work) however, I will post some later on tonight when I get home. :)
The car has Anthracite 17" OZ Superleg's, window tint, Morettes, colour coded skirts, STI 6 lip spoiler, Eibachs (makes the car sit slightly lower) and a load of other bits, but from an external styling point of view, these are the bits that can be seen/made a difference.
---=CeeDee=--- 18 June 2003, 20:39 it's not a 98 (it is 96) but...who knows u may even like it...

yup I do like Ceedee :D
What rear spoiler is that?
My first decision is either clear or smoked side repeaters, and clear or smoked indicators. Can anyone photoshop the pic of my car?

Scott and BuRR - how much are both yours lowered by, and what springs & (shocks)??
The concensus so far seems to be crystal clear side repeaters and indicators (like the morettes BTW), any pics of smoked for comparison, on a greeny?
All very nice by the way. Always like multispokes too, but used to have TD Monzas on an Astra Gsi, and whilst they looked wicked, were a bitch to clean :(
Mine is standard suspension.... for now anyway ;)
Scott W 20 June 2003, 08:18 Mine simply has Eibachs on it, and that is it.
As for the wheels, you are right about them being a complete bitch to clean!
Keigo 08 August 2003, 12:59 CeeDee,
Love the front splitter. What is it? And what side skirts are they? Thanks
REZBOY 08 August 2003, 16:09 I have tried and tried to arrange a group buy for this front splitter but unless there are quite a few people interested it becomes very expensive to get them shipped from Zargreb where they are made to the uk !!! If others are interested in doing a group but for this splitter then I will have one !!

Warwick-hunt 08 August 2003, 19:47 rezboy, i'd just been on the old thread about these splitters to see if there had been any updates. i know derek @ ets has copied some parts and makes one for taking the mold, would it be worth buying one and getting him to copy it instead of waiting for a group buy

Your first job should be to get your side skirts colour coded.
I did this job myself - its very easy.
You can get the paint made up at your local halfords.
Just ubbolt the skirts, clean, use plastic primer and then spray up:D
It makes the car look much lower as well:cool:
Next check out the for sale section and get yourself a scoobysport back box for about £150.
It makes the car sound ten times better and makes the back look a lot better.
It will cost you about £90 to de-tango the car.
Go for crystal clear and your laughing:D:D:D
Greg
Mortywrx 10 August 2003, 11:37 A big difference would be to buy a facelift front bumper colour code the side skirts, 17", de-tango.
Is this the Sulli from Migweb?

heres mine
REZBOY 11 August 2003, 16:12 Warwick - hunt , that does sound like a great idea - the only prob is that someone will need to fork out a few hundred quid to get one first.... if Derek does get one then I will have one of the copies from him for sure... I will hold off from buying a splitter for a while in that case ?? I am sure that there will be a lot of interest in these if he decided to get one to copy..
Cheers Rez.
