Bloody hell, couldn't believe the way he carved past Biaggi and Gibernau like they weren't there in the closing stages of the race. The man is a god on a bike.
Someone should have told Capirossi he didn't need to ride it so hard at the end of the race too :D

A great race and Ducati's first GP win.
Rossi was demented.

He is by far the best rider out there, which I think he proved by spanking the others after his mistake, the right hander with him spinning the rear up big stylee was a sight to behold  lol :)
Am pleased for Little Loris too, that bike does look good atm.

I think Capirossi was wise to keep pushing - if he had backed off when Rossi went off, he may not have won the race. He knows what Rossi is like and capable of and probably was not at all surprised to find he finished 2nd.
How gutted must Max have been though when he saw Rossi go off and then for him to come past him 6 laps later ;);):D:D Bearing in mind at the start of the lap, Rossi was behing Checca, Nakano and Gibernau - Max's board probably read something like Gibernau +0.4 or something and half a lap later, Rossi stuffed it up the inside - you can just imagine Max saying to himself "where the **** did he come from" - LOL :D:D:D:D
There I was saying to a friend who was round watching it with me that this was the first boring race of the season when Rossi went off and the race redeemed itself ;);):D:D
Looking forward to the next one!
Matt :)
Fecking, fecking feck! :( To placate Mrs V5 I went out just after Rossi went off. My thinking was that tho he might catch one or two of them up, I won't miss out on too much. How wrong!

And me thinks we haven't seen the best of him yet. Until there's someone on the same level as this guy, he's only toodling about winning at a comfortable pace. I'm tellin' ya guys... watch this space... he's got more up his sleeve!
