RB5: 7*17 or 7,5*17?

What I know is that the RB5 has 205-45-17 tires.
But the are the rims 7 * 17 or 7,5 * 17 ???
I want to upgrad my MY98 to RB5 performance
:
-17" rims
-chip-tuning of engine (Switzerland company)

...or should I fit 7,5*17 with 215-40-17 ???

Standard RB5 wheels are 7 x 17.
215/40 x 17 tyres will fit quite happily on a 7 x 17 rim, as will a 205/45 x 17.
You have to be careful with the offset on a 7.5 x 17 wheel, as you can have problems rubbing at the rear arches.
