That's a Prova front lip.

http://www.jprova.co.jp

Not Max Power at all IMO, this renowned japanese tuner is not too much into boyracer stuff... like Lexus rear lights, flamer kits, etc

wrx.co.uk is an importer of jap cars, he doesn't make spoilers etc.
Have a look at Lee's sight and get his e-mail address, he may know the manufacturer of the spoiler.
PS Not my cup of tea either, but then I am 30 and over the hill:D

I think I like that quite a lot. Say think because I would like to it from different angles.

Looks a lot better than the majority of what people consider to be "tasteful" splitters for the pre-facelift cars for a start.
(I realise that is not a pre-facelift I just don't like many front splitters attached to the older cars.)

I actually REALLY like that. Im not sure if it will suit my black one but on white it looks damn nice!!

Did you get any prices on it? Im considering selling my p1 splitter for this :D

That splitter looks amazing. Agree - need to see it from different angles, but on that picture, could be just what i'm looking for. Can anyone post details of who to contact / where to get it from?? Cost???

Also; the guy on the pic only has the Prova front splitter, it probably looks even beter when having the sideskirts with that...

Its expensive. Followed the site and it says prices around 30000 yen. Thats around £300 + about £100 shipping then there is vat and import tax on it and painting it!

Krade has emailed the supplier to get a price.

I think its going to be one of those kits that you have to be bloody rich to get it.

I found another kit similiar to this and it was amazing. The kit came to £5000!!!! I asked why so much and they said the kit is made for people who have the money to buy a porsche but buy a subaru and want it to look mean.

I dont think they sold one kit! lol

The front splitter does look good, and very agressive, but it needs to be matched with appropriate sides and rear bumper.
A front conversion is no good without the rest of the surround.

Hence why I love MRO's stuff. Rob actually designs full KITS, not just peices.

A full kit sets a car apart from the racer-wannabes and makes the car individual.

M0NEY - I reckon the splitter would look hot in black. The curves and fins would be very subtle. In white they stand out, but in black you'd have to be close to see the detail.

DETAIL DETAIL! :D

Huffer - stop convincing me mate! lol :D

Agree with what you are saying now - i think the whole kit would make it stand out like oh momma! :D

Some things look crap in pictures but look real nice in the flesh and some things vice versa. And some things look nice in pics and looks amazing in the flesh.

I wonder what this one would look like in the flesh.

Anyone up for a trip to Japan to go and find out! lol

Alberick

Saw it several times while being in Japan (on Auto shows or private ppl who had the whole PROVA kit), I think it looks better on darker colours, like DBM, black, or the the dark "steel" colour like the RB5's cars & eventually green...not so good on silver, white etc...

Again, go to the Prove site and check, here a direct link for those who cannot read Japanese:

I have found a UK supplier for the Jprova stuff.

jprovacars@aol.com

The front lip is £272 + VAT including painting. The full kit reatials for £960 + VAT inc painting and consists of Lip Skirts & rear Bumper extension

Alberick so you didnt like it in the lightier colours?

What was wrong with the white one in the pic? In the flesh can you see the lines attaching it to the bumper then?

Alberick
13 June 2003, 17:21
Isaw the official Prove demo car (as shown on their site) whihc is DBM and the kit looks great. It's not that you see lines in lighter colors but just my opinion that on dark colours it looks better...
Prsonally I would love to go for the Wero Sports kit (in full carbon mmmmmh)

M0NEY
13 June 2003, 19:19
lol at Alberick

Full carbon - you might as well go the whole way and get the whole body shell in carbon :D

Fair point about the colour. It seems to be some mods suit lightier cars and not darker and vice versa

Alberick
13 June 2003, 20:50
anyway that should say Zero Sports not Wero....

where can i buy a full carbon bodyshell??

M0NEY
14 June 2003, 10:35
