Squeek coming from Driver's side wheel area
Have had this annoying squeek coming from the wheel/brake area of MY98 Turbo. Been going on for about a month, only starts after i've been driving it for a while.
I orginally thought it was the driver's side brake but after having the caliper checked for ceasing, the disk checked and having new pads put on it's still doing it.
Anybody had anything similar happen to them! Appreciate any help.

I still have the same thing occasionally - been told on here that it might be brake dust in the handbrake drum.
A temporary fix is to find an empty car park,
reverse while left-foot braking (difficult)
and then stamp on the brake (and clutch obviously)
Can't speak for the healthiness of such a manoeuvre but it seems to make it stop squeaking for a bit.

Gangsta Smurf I have exactly the same problem with my 99 turbo, it has just had new disks and pads all round fitted, I was advised (on here) and by my garage that it is most likely a pad issue with some of the material heating up more so than other parts this in turn is touching the disks slightly and causing a squeek on each turn of the wheel. The minute my car cools off slightly it goes away which agrees with the garages diagnosis, I have just learned to live with it as it only happens after some hard driving, so don't hear the squeek very often !!!!!
