do I still need side lights with moretteos (classic)

Question

As above realy, is it illegal not to use my side lights if I have the side lights on the morettoes working (are there side lights on these??)

Rob, not too sure about legality but on my morettes, uk classic the outside light only goes on with main beam, inside lights are full beam. Hope this helps

In the outer lamp of morettes there is a small wedge or peanut bulb used for the side light

You can wire the sidelights on Morettes to work, then do away with the OE sidelights. In fact, Mole's Dad was doing just that, and charting his progress on here, and converting his OE sidelights to indicators, just before he sadly passed away.
I can't remember if he'd done it, but seem to think he had.
Legally, you need parking lights, and the law does not specify that they must be OE.
