View Full Version : Who`s going this year then.
turbochad 08 January 2003, 15:29 Oh boy, a 3 hour drive after a 9 hour flight from the States.
Nope, never been to a rally before, never been to the UK either. Really looking forward to it though. Should be an interesting adventure.
I'm staying in Cardiff for 4 or 5 days and then I'm going back to London and doing the tourist thing for a week or so. I've been trying to get over there for years. My wife is deathly afraid I won't come back because I tried to move there after college a few years back and it didn't pan out at the last minute.

Steve V8 06 May 2003, 22:42 Yup, I've already booked the time off work. My brother lives in Swansea, so hopefully free accomodation for the duration:)
Does anyone know when tickets are going on sale this year? And where they'll be available from.
Just thinking as it's all changed from last year hasn't it.

just as long as ferries keep running that is.
Mark.
Get your hotels booked! I know of at least 2 that are already full! :(
YorkshireSimon 26 May 2003, 14:44 I'll be going again.... :)
Question is, where do I stay this time???
Stayed at a Travel Inn last year in Cardiff which was the usual basic but very acceptable hotel you would expect for around £50 per night.
This year I would like to book into somewhere that is kind of central to all the action spots, without having the mileage each day of the event. Last year, set off from Huddersfield, West Yorks, and did 1100 miles in 3 days, ouch...
So if anyone can pass on some useful recommendations as to where to stay, rough costs and telephone numbers if poss, this would be much appreciated.
I would like to book mine now so as not to be dissappointed.
First things first though, Monaco GP this weekend, bag packing in 2 days :):):):D
Thanks
Simon
Neath is ideal..... and a superb place on a Saturday night ;)
YorkshireSimon 27 May 2003, 16:49 Neath, will check into this. Any hotel names recommended here?
