does anyone have oe of these fitted, what are they like?

Getting one fitted to PPP'd MY99 this Saturday - see post in 'Drivetrain'

 

Salsa - in end went for a Pipercross. Very impressed with increased performance, and value for money. Roughly same cost as K&N but (according to Group N Subaru preparer I spoke to) a lot more effective than the K&N!!
