Unhappy

Mate of mine has an MY02 Diesel Fiesta. He has noted the nearside rear tyre has excessive shoulder wear.

Ford have agreed to do a 4 wheel alignment check, but say as adjustment is not possible, the only cause could be accident damage.

Can anyone confirm whether camber\4 wheel alignment is unadjustable on a Fiesta, and has anyone else come across similar?

The car was bought new, and has not suffered damage, except the usual low speed kerb clonks that his wife(allegedly) does parking.

Edited for spolling

Possibly totally irrelevant, but...

My Ibiza had this problem at the front and it wasn't adjustable. The dealer moved the whole subframe across the car to sort it out.

After that it was fine for a while, then I noticed it had worn the outer edges of the fronts beyond legal. I had just done a track day in it though

You can only adjust the toe on Festa'a... mines the same, it always knacks the outer edge of the NSF, I just put it down to going round rounabouts like a maniac I used to track it up at least once a month just to be sure, never made a difference though
