It time for my bi annual atempt to stir up some shrewsbury/telford/shropshire scoobs. Ive seen you about, some have even waved, so I know your out there ;)

It would be nice to start a regular local meet in the area, starting with a general introductory meet.

I'll be heading up to the NBO in june so we could also get to know each other an d sort a convoy.

If theres some interest we can start to look at dates & places.

Where is the black STI 5 door I see parked at the retail park all the time, the blue MY99 that always waves, the sonic blue 5 door that I see a lot, the STi7 I have seen regularly, the while 5 door rouns pontesbury/minstarley way, the silver saloon about the place, the modded red MY99/98 I see in town a lot. White bug eye in sainsburys the other day.

Etheridge-Bird - Thats an area of Telford isnt it? I work in telford but live in shrewsbury.

This is good, more interest than usual.

Sports are more than welcome - I used to be a sport owner until Jan just gone.

Maybe we should be thinking of a May date, maybe towards the end of may, as Ive a holiday at the start

Also I will need preferences for pub meet or meet & small run then pub etc. Ive a feew pubs in mind but any preferences will be taken into account.

Oh, and are any of you going to NBO? (Que LordHarding thread inavasion ;) )

Hi. just changin my leggy for impreza. so im up for it.

What happened to MDB? I went to a couple of meets with him, then saw his car in WA lewis' for sale. Not seen or heard from him sice on here. Originaly I thought he was part exing for a newer model, but seems he has left scoob land completley. I seem to remember it having particularly nice wheels & brake conversion.

Where are we all based? I can try ane be central then.

I'm sure I'd be up for it as well dates depending of course. I'm free most eves though. I'm from North Staffs but I'm always up for a bit of a drive to the meet point!

Ive not been to the Hare & Hounds, but pass the mermaid on way to work. Not beein in there either but it has a nice spot.

For the start I was thinking somewhere in or around telford, as it just of the M54 and therefore easy for all to find. Then a blast up some country b roads to a pub for nosh and photos etc.

For bub suggestions we have...

Hare & Houds (crackley Bank)
Mermaid (atcham)
I would suggest the white horse in pulverbatch - not as good as it used to be but some good routs there are possable and it has a big car park,
Ironbridge - maybe the Malt house. A top notch pub, even though not far from telford I can do a good rout that takes us the scenic route there ;)

In all cases I will need to confirm an advanced order with the pub, some may even need advanced food choices.

If we can agree a location I will get on it.

Also dates - I was thinking of the bank holliday mondays in may. theres one at the start and one at the end - 5th and 26th I think. Or those weekend if Mondays are no good foor peeps.
