Yep,
It was a great event stayed on Cloc Main for both runs, wanted to sleep between the stages :D. But at least the SMS kept me up to date with what was going on.
What a great battle at the front of the event between Burton, Perrott, Dodd, and Mann.

What a brilliant day out we had.
Saw five stages, I think, and plenty of action. Managed to get to Alwen, Cloc Main (at the gully), Penmachno South, and Cloc East.
Had car 316/7(?) in the Post Histerics roll right in front of us in Penmacho. He managed to destroy the flying finish boards but never actually made it over the bridge in order to get a time, he finished up on his roof, half blocking the stage, just before the bridge.
It was a big accident. He looked like getting away with it until the car hit a huge rock in the ditch which launched it into an end of end accident. Could of been a lot worse though had it not scrubbed off some speed before going over.
He reckoned the anti-roll bar had broken. When we finally righted the car to recover it before the big boys came through it was in fourth gear. Big damage to what was a lovely RS2000. I bet the driver was sore today, he said he had a broken rib BEFORE he had even started the rally as a result of a ski-ing accident!
He didn't seem to fussed about the car, more the fact that neither of the two people in our group with video cameras, had managed to get it on film!
We tried to explain to him that despite being in what we though was a safe place, some 30 feet up a bank on a straight, we were more concerned with trying to avoid a tumbling car than getting it on video!
Dodd was on a mission over the bridge, appearing to have more of the car hanging over fresh air than he had on the road.
I have to say that EVERYBODY seemed to be on it, all day. Even the usually boring Mitsi's were fun to watch.
Nik Elsmore seems to be making a habit of putting the car on its roof!
Saw two br.co.uk fleeces, with people inside them(!), on SS10. 90 right through the gates, where the TV cameras were. Think one might have been Des, sunglasses on his head. The other was worn by a snapper who got into a silver Astra.
Well done to AB, why was he the only one that was taking two minutes at the start of the stages? I would have thought all of the top crews would have been switched on enough to take the maximum time allowed between cars?
What happened to James Stait, saw his damaged MG on the pub car park at the passage control outside Penmachno.
Mark Higgins was certainly peddling that Clio. On the long downhill run into a 90 right on the Penllyn stage he was at 90 degrees to the way he wanted to be going, for a good 50 metres before the corner I reckon. Awesome.
Andy Gwynne tried to emulate this feat but his effort looked a little less controlled, and after the dramas of penmachno, I was already looking for an escape route!
P.S - Also saw that Merc outside Penmachno, whoops!

MJB,
You got anymore piccies of car No. 27??
Thanks.
Watched the incar footage of it, and jesus the stages where quick!!
Hope everybody had a good time.
Great Day :) lots of sun & dust ;)
Got to stages 2 & 10 + service @ Bala.
Dodd, Burton & Higgins stood out, also Charlie Payne's roll on SS10 was spectacular, he managed to get the Impreza on its side facing the wrong way on a 12 ft wide section with trees on one side & a bank on the other. He even tried to drive it away once we had pushed him back over.
Great day & a Very spectator friendly event :)

I wasn't aware that North Wales was at risk from SARS, judging by the number of people wearing white masks, I may well be wrong!!
