I've just read on the AMA news site that Aaron slight has walked out on a seasons worth of AMA racing following his disgust at the Daytona 200 farce.

(pace cars coming out for bikes, which several bikes ploughed into the back of as they didnt see it when they came round the banking on full tilt - riders allowed to swop bikes during pitstops - lack of flags - being allowed to refuel bikes on the grid etc etc)

Apparently his decision to leave AMA was prompted by being offered a deal to drive British touring cars this year.

I can find no confirmation of this on any touring car sites (like who's he gonna drive for !)

anyone heard anything ?
