Bad news from Ireland today. Bertie Fisher, 4 times Tarmac champion and his family were in a helicopter crash. Bertie and his wife are both critical in hospital but unfortunately his daughter and son, Mark, were killed.

For those who don't know, Bertie was one of the first privateers to run a Group A Impreza in 1994, just after the works team got them. His son Mark also drove various Imprezas and was considered a real talent for the future.

Its a sad day when we lose such talent.

Sincere condolences to the family and I hope Bertie and his wife recover soon.
