Alesi in rally crash

Jean Alesi walked away from a rallying accident in Italy last weekend.
The Frenchman, currently a Prost driver, was competing in a non-World Championship Rally in Italy when he smashed his Subaru Imprezza during the final stage on Monza’s Grand Prix circuit.
Whilst taking the banked turn of Monza, which was formerly used for F1, Alesi smashed into the guardrail at 180 km/h. Despite landing in a ditch after several mid-air spins, the 36-year-old emerged unscathed from his car thanks to the ultra-strong roll cage in the Subaru.
Alesi will begin preparations next month for his 14th Grand Prix season.
