Another story from MN this week.

Apparantly, one of the guys running an EV0 3 at Silverstone Loctite Rallysprint at the weekend, bust his rear diff before the final.

A public address announcement was put out asking if anyone had a rear diff from an EV01, 2 or 3 "handy".

Member of the public came forward and let the team pull his diff off his road car and fit it to the rally car.

Driver then went onto to win the round.

Nice one.

In return, the driver (who runs a motorsport company) is doing a load of work to this guys car for him.

That is what motorsport should be about.

The most famous one has to be Ari Vatanen in the MkII Escort BDA knicking the rear diff from a 3 litre capri when his diff blew.

Got it on video, they leave this poor chap sat up on axle stands and tell him to book it into the nearest dealer on monday http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif LOL
