Many, many, many thanks to Nick and the guys at Powerstation today

Needless to say our car was a bit of a mess having tracking results such as this: eek! after the set up by another "well-known Scooby specialist" and 7,500 miles of wear, so getting to Powerstation today to get them to help sort out the mess was a big priority The guys were superb carrying out the tracking and bumpsteer producing, well, basically a new car for me to drive home

Taking the "country route" along roads I know well I was finding I was taking corners at my normal speed but the car felt like I wasn't pushing it at all (previously I would have felt I was really going for it! ), obviously I wasn't really "trying" as I have to scrub in the tyres we've just put on - but needless to say I can't wait to chuck it around a bit ...might have to sort out those track lessons after all

The braking was the best bit I had to test the "straight line with your hands off the wheel" comment (safely I might add...my hands were only 1/2 and inch off the wheel - honest!) and it worked ...appart from that, it doesn't shake itself to bits every time my foot goes near the brake peddal

Thanks guys, professional and friendly service, lovely dogs and some fantastic cars to look at whilst waiting

I won't hesitate to recommend you

Thanks

Jen, Chris and Scooby

What were the readings for your front toe/camber before adjustment ?

Must have been way off with tyre wear like that...

- 0 deg 17' left
- 0 deg 02' right

making a grand old total of - 0 deg 20'

They managed to get it too +0 deg 03' on each

...think that's the right numbers (Front Axle Toe)

The camber was - 0 deg 52' left and - 1 deg 24' right, and is now - 0 deg 53' and 55'

Drives alot better now, must dig out the print out from when it was orignally done and see if the numbers match, I know the car hasn't been kerbed or anything so I can't think of anyway I would have put it that much out!

If that's not what you wanted to know, explain in idiot language and I'll try and figure it out

I was there last monday getting my Sti7 remapped via Ecutek. The guys were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Have they gained a dog, they only had one when I was there?

Car drives a lot better now, especially from low revs. Cant speak highly enough of them.

From Aberdeen? That is dedication! Glad the car feels great

Yeah - they had one big black one who wanders around and like cuddles, the other little fawn and white one was asleep on the office chairs

Thumbs up

I second Jen's comments. Powerstation rock and if you haven't had the bumpsteer mod done on your Scoob, you need it. Now!

Totally different car. Love it, love it, love it.

And to all the blokes who commented that a mere girlie might not be able to handle the oversteer...

Two dogs =

Stan, Bulldog, sleeps a lot.
Tia, Rottie, is "playful". Tia is usually only in during the week.

Cheers
