Probably been asked a 1000 times before but...

Time for some new front brake pads (WRX Bugeye MY01).
Upgraded front pads from dealer £160!!!! surely there's a cheaper option?
What alternatives are there?
As seen in another thread are Ferodo DS2000's the same pad?
What can I expect to pay for a front set. I expected around £90?
Any other suggestions welcome - just want them for road use but slightly better performance than the standard pads..

Unhappy

I could also do with prices sharpish as my pads are on the brink of dying.
Cheers

Thumbs up

My pads caused me to fail my first MOT. The dealer then asked if I wanted their upgrades £158 all in, I gave then a set of almost new DS2000 pads that I had kicking around. I've now driven them to and from work and some fast road stuff and I'm suprised at how much better they are than std. They work reasonably well from cold and bite really well from high speed too.

I may even put the rears in as well now.
