You can get Philips Vision plus blue bulbs, which are reckoned to be good. Try www.powerbulbs.co.uk

I put 16 watt bulbs in my sidelights £2 each from my local car shop. They are very bright and you can drive with only them on. If you like, I could get you a set and send them on to you at £2 each, a better price that PIAA. Do you know of anyone who has got clear indicators lenses for a MY98 spec (the long thin ones)?

I changed to Vision-Plus blue bulbs a week or two ago. I have HID Morettes, and even now - the side lights still look yellow. I'm sure against normal lights, they're very blue/bright - but in context, they're still disappointing.
Perhaps LEDs would be more successful.

Anything will look yellow beside an HID, even Halogen bulbs do.
As far as LED's go, they are bright, but VERY directional: you can only really see 'em from head-on. Also, they aren't e-marked, so are not legal.

I'll be staying with Blue-Vision then!

The PIAA sidelight bulbs are white and not yellow. They make a big difference and do not look yellow. They would match a hid light.
